Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

  • Butterfly one pound wild caught gulf shrimp
  • Slice 20 pieces Wisconsin pepperjack cheese into strips
  • Cut 10 pieces apple smoked bacon in half
  • Place cheese strips into center of butterflied shrimp
  • Wrap cheese filled shrimp with bacon strips
  • Skewer with tooth picks
  • Season with South Padre Seafood “Kick it Up” rub
  • Grill on medium heat.
  • When bacon is done, the shrimp is done.
